Westcon Security Europe Recognized as a Leading Juniper Networks Authorized Education Center under the “Corporate Category” in EMEA for 2006-2008

Houten, Netherlands, January 12, 2009 – Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, announced that Westcon Security has been honored by Juniper as one of its leading Juniper Networks Authorized Education Centers (JNAEC) in EMEA for 2006-2008.  

As part of its JNAEC education program, Westcon Security Europe’s trained technicians regularly deliver authorized training on a variety of Juniper products including its security and WAN optimization portfolio. This valuable coursework, which is targeted at end users and resellers, derives from Juniper Networks’ proprietary training curriculum and ranges in skill level from introductory to intermediate.

Westcon Security's JNAEC plays an important role in the global implementation of Juniper Networks’ Technical Certification Program, which consists of platform-specific, multi-tiered tracks. This enables participants to demonstrate their competence with Juniper Networks technology through a combination of written proficiency tests and hands-on configuration and troubleshooting exams.
