RSA enVision
RSA enVision 3.7
The v3.7 release, which is now available to customers, continues to build on the strong foundation provided by the V3.5 release, which added important new features and significant improvements in access control enforcement, real-time monitoring, enhanced availability support, and correlated threat detection.
RSA enVision 3.7 encompasses the following functionality:
- Expanded Vulnerability Asset Management
Event information from IDS/IPS alerts can be automatically mapped to vulnerability intelligence acquired through an enterprise-class platform that collects, manages and analyzes all event and asset data. Incident handling costs are reduced while raising security operations productivity.
- Alerting Enhancements
With SNPP Support, alerts can now also be sent directly to pagers. In addition, detailed incident management files containing all events associated with a task/event can now be included in all communications including emails and pagers.
- Reporting Enhancements
The reporting capability of RSA enVision is a powerful tool frequently used throughout the compliance process. RSA enVision 3.7 further facilitates the audit cycle by enhancing proof of examination, including full audit trail for reporting workflow and process reporting as well as expanded reports for the automatic generation of all report administration, viewing and export operations.
- Internationalization
Written languages in Asia Japan region contain many non-Latin characters. Japan for instance uses Kanji, a Chinese based character set used in today’s Japanese logographic writing. RSA enVision now supports these non-ASCII characters in many key elements of the product.
New Storage Options - NAS7000
High availability network-attached storage based on EMC Celerra storage designed for multi-server RSA enVision deployments. The NAS7000 offers 7TB for support of long term online log data storage and a high availability design with dual redundant components.
